A passion and commitment to “grow powerful people” fuelled the birth of The CHILI Tree in 2013. And that hasn’t changed. GROWING POWERFUL PEOPLE is still the reason why we get up in the morning. It is part of our DNA and underpins everything we do.

THE STORY OF

LIEZEL VAN JAARSVELD

Liezel started her career in SALES and her passion for delivering excellence in customer service paved her way into various MANAGEMENT roles. Here the seed of “growing powerful people” was planted and she gardened her way into TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT. Embracing B-BBEE COMPLIANCE and imbedding it into TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT goals were natural next steps.

After 17 successful years in the corporate world, it was time to cultivate the “growing powerful people” seed into The CHILI Tree. Liezel now continues to grow her clients into powerful people and organisations as the chief gardener of The CHILI Tree.

The roots of our Baobab tree is firmly planted in transformation (whether B-BBEE and/or leadership, management, team or personal) because The CHILI Tree will only yield “powerful people fruit” if we nurture the roots in the right soil. Our brand slogan signifies a cadence of the ever-evolving development and nurturing of individuals and companies, as well as the ensuing strength of character and culture.

We approach transformation and growth in a dynamic way. Our work is never done – there is always a better and/or different and/or smarter way to get things done. We are with you for the long run.

The colour green symbolises a healthy, positive environment and red embraces passion, drive and edge.
